Extended Care

When a parent is interested in enrolling a child, the parent contacts the school and is sent an enrollment packet. The parent is urged to visit the school and observe before making an enrollment decision. Following this, the parent completes forms and submits an application and an enrollment fee. Finally, we recommend that the parents make a brief second visit with their child so that the child will be able to picture where he/she will be attending school.

One of our goals is to keep a balance of full and halfday children in each classroom. Nap room space is limited to a total of 19 children. New early childhood children will be accepted into full or halfday programs as space allows. Parents of new early childhood students may request either of the two classrooms, East or West. The office staff will make every effort to accommodate parental requests as they place the child, while keeping our rarios of ages and geners as equal as possible. Children may be transferred between full and halfday programs as space allows; however, in keeping with Montessori philosophy, once a child is placed in an early childhood classroom he/she remains there until it is time to transfer to lower elementary or another school.
