Thank you for your support of the Montessori School of Bowling Green. Since we opened our doors 31 years ago, we have educated over 4,000 children. Each and every one of them is very special to us.
We are reminded daily of what an amazing community we have at MSBG. We watch as smiling children eagerly go to their classrooms each morning. We see them grow into achieving their personal potential through our exceptional curriculum that is tailored to each child's needs. And we see our alumni as competitive forces in the 21st century global economy in which we live.
Last year, our generous contributors helped us accomplish the following:
1. Eleven staff member were able to attend the national American Montessori Society conference. Our students are directly affected each day by their highly-qualified teachers who take their professional development very seriously.
2. Our Art, Spanish, Music and Physical Education programs continue to provide enrichment for all students beginning in early childhood.
3. Technology throughout the building was upgraded to offer exceptional learning opportunities for our children.
This year, our goals are:
1. Building upgrades and maintenance. Our original building is aging and we have six furnaces and a roof that have been replaced, or will need to be, in the near future.
2. Increase the number of field trips and our community involvement in spite of the increase in busing fees.
3. Improve our outdoor education by naturalizing our playgrounds and creating environmental learning opportunities in the Montessori woods.
