Kathy Korducki
Board President
Kathy Korducki is the Senior National Account Executive/Regional Vice President at Medco Health Solutions, Inc. As the MSBG board President, she is the presiding officer of the board of directors and appoints all committees and authorizes and defines the powers and duties of said committees. She has been an MSBG parent since 2001 and all three of her children have attended the school, including one that is in Upper Elementary. Her professional experience and academic background include marketing, strategic planning and business development. She is a member of the Board of Directors of Vocational Services at Sunshine Inc. She also serves on the Development Committee at St.Thomas Moore Parish, School Council at St. Aloysius, and on the American Cancer Society's Wine and Cheese Committee. She states, "Having attended a Montessori school as a child, I have a strong commitment to Montessori education and a great desire to see our school community thrive."
Eric Myerholtz
Vice President
Eric Myerholtz is a CPA for Roppe Corporation, a manufacturing company located in Fostoria. His background includes extensive experience in financial reporting and auditing. A Montessori parent for 14 years, his three children are all alumni of the school. "Although totally new to the Montessori educational approach when we enrolled our first child at the age of three, I cannot speak highly enough of the 'love of learning' instilled in our children during their years here."
Kristin Otley
Treasurer
Kristin Otley is the Recreation Coordinator for the City of Bowling Green Parks and Recreation Department. As treasurer, she is responsible for determining that all funds received are deposited in the depository designated by the Board of Directors and are disbursed in accordance with the budget approved by the Board or on special approval of the Board. She serves on the finance committee as its chairperson. Kristin also serves on the Ohio Parks and Recreation Association Board, BG Community Coalition for Youth and Family, Red Cross Wood County Advisory Board, and the Bicycle Safety Commission. Her daughter Reagan is an early childhood student at MSBG. She states, "I joined the board more as a community member than a parent. I feel that my connections within the community can help MSBG with potential partnerships, marketing and revenue development. I continue to be impressed with the dedication and compassion of all of the teachers and staff."
Scott Coon
Secretary
Scott Coon is an attorney in Bowling Green. As secretary, he is responsible that all minutes of meetings, articles of incorporation, constitution, bylaws, other books and papers as the Board may direct are properly maintained. He offers practical and legal advice to the school. All three of his children have attended MSBG. "In addition to the legal perspective I offer, I can also offer the perspective of a parent who has had two children transition from MSBG to a public school."
Marc Suelzer
Parent Representative to the Board
Marc Suelzer is the Global Director of IT Strategy and Architecture at Owens-Illinois (O-I) in Perrysburg, Ohio. He has a background in strategic planning and has a strong understanding of both internal and external factors in the development of a successful plan. He and his wife, Alisa, have two children who attend MSBG. He states, "I am excited for the opportunity to perform the liaison role between the PTO and the Board of Directors."
Pam Bettinger
Member
Pam Bettinger is an owner of Nazareth Hall in Grand Rapids and a Certified Personal Trainer. She provides expertise in development as well as a past parent perspective. She states, "My roots to MSBG run deep from growing up with a mother who taught at MSBG to cleaning the school as a part-time job in High School, to both of my children attending MSBG."
Sandra Earle
Member
Sandra Earle is a professor of pharmacy at the University of Findlay. She has a strong educational background and a passion for the Montessori method. She attends First United Methodist Church of Bowling Green and her husband Dean of the College of Business Administration and Interim Provost at BGSU. Her two sons are alumni of MSBG and currently attend St. John's Academy. She states, "I very much believe in the Montessori method and in particular this school. My boys left here loving to learn at age 12. How can you top that?"
Michelle Evans
Member
Michelle Evans is the owner of Evans Home Loans and Evans Insurance. She has strong connections to the community, knowledge of small business, and experiences with networking and marketing. She has four children and is a current parent of MSBG. She is currently a Board Member for the American Cancer Society and Alicia's Voice. She is a member of the Executive Board for BG Chamber of Commerce and the current Vice President for the Dynamic Connections Source Chapter of BNI. She states, "I really enjoy helping and supporting the Montessori School of Bowling Green."
Susan Kleine
Member
Susan Kleine is a professor of business at Bowling Green State University. She has a strong business, marketing, and education background. Her two daughters are alumni of MSBG, one is currently in high school and the other attends Ohio Northern University. She states, "I care deeply about this school and feel that I can contribute to the promotional efforts of MSBG."
Lara Martin Lengel
Member
Lara Martin Lengel is a professor and chair of the Department of Communications at Bowling Green State University. She has rich experience in development, grant writing, and event planning. Her two children attended MSBG from 2002-2010. "MSBG has an impressive peace studies curriculum; I've been involved in giving talks on peace initiatives in the Middle East and North Africa to groups of students ranging from age 3 to 6th grade and I'm happy to include MSBG as one of our partner organizations for our Partners for a Sustainable Future program."
Jeff Miner
Member
Jeff Miner is a a professor at BGSU for the past eighteen years. He is the chair of the Biological Sciences department. He was a parent at MSBG for sixteen years. He states, "I'm completely convinced that the Montessori method is the best learning method. Both of our daughters completed sixth grade here and I think their academic self-confidence and creativity were well fostered at MSBG. I'm happy to help the school by serving on the Board."
Cathy Skiver
Member
Cathy Skiver is the Assitant Director of the Ohio Northwest Business Networking International (BNI). She provides an outside perspective and her marketing experience and talents benefit the marketing efforts at MSBG. She is the yoga instructor at MSBG and Perrysburg. She has been married for 40 years, has five children, and six grandchildren. She is the publisher of Your Local Health and Wellness Guide. She is a certified yogy instructor and the past president of the Yoga Teachers of Northwest Ohio. "I offer an "outside" community perspective that is an asset for sharing MSBG with the greater community."
